About CFI Holdings Limited
We are a Zimbabwean based diversified conglomerate predominantly involved in agro-industrial processing, irrigation, retailing, and property management and development. We have our roots in the Farmers’ Cooperative Society formed in 1908 with the principal objective of marketing maize.
Following the acquisition of the Farmers’ Cooperative Society (Farmers’ Coop), the cooperative evolved over the years to become a leading agro-based industrial holding company.

Our journey thus far…
- 1908 | The Farmers Co-operative was created principally to market maize;
- 1995 | Consolidated Farming Investments buys the farmers’ co-operative;
- 1997 | CFI Holdings lists on the Zimbabwe Stock Exchange;
- 2002 | Rights issue to fund acquisition of Crest Breeders International;
- 2005 | CFI enters into a strategic alliance with Hubbard Europe;
- 2007 | Acquisition of 10% in Beira Grain Terminal;
- 2010 | Franchising of Town & Country Supermarkets to Upridge Trading (Pvt) Limited t/a Afrofoods.
